When I saw it, I immediately realized this was more than a simple pop-up store. It’s a brand statement that combines surprise, experience, and performance.
On Running, the iconic Swiss sportswear brand, launched the “Thanks for Playing” initiative during the recent US Open, bringing a branded truck to New York.
The vehicle serves as a mobile showcase, a mini experiential hub where runners can engage with the products in a direct and original way — from activewear to footwear, all prominently displayed inside and outside the truck.
This format is a marketing tool that blends visibility, emotion, and engagement. In a market saturated with digital advertising, the pop-up truck reintroduces real human interaction: it encourages people to see, touch, try — and share.
There’s more. The truck also amplifies the “Right to Run” message, through which On emphasizes that movement is a universal right, worth defending and promoting. This is not just about sport but about culture: mobility that transcends physical boundaries and creates opportunities for connection and belonging.
With this direct presence on the streets, On brings the brand out of screens and into people’s everyday lives. It’s not a simple display but an immersive experience that strengthens community ties and reinforces the identity of a brand capable of combining innovation, creativity, and authentic values.
