Nestled among the Italian hills is Pinwheel, a custom-made prefabricated wooden home.
Built and furnished in six months, it was tailored to fit the contours of a sloping plot of land.
The home’s name derives from its unique shape, designed by JM Architecture to meet the client’s only wish: to enjoy the views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding alpine valleys.
After considering several design options for the compact site, the team concluded that the constraints and the client’s needs were harmonized in the creation of a simple pentagonal structure.
