With the Paris 2024 Olympic Games kicking off in just a few days, the Centre Pompidou has unveiled a new PoMo-style skate park on its famous forecourt to celebrate the event.
The Cycloid Piazza, a skateable sculpture created by artist Raphael Zarka in collaboration with Jean-Benoît Vétillard, features a vibrant combination of geometric shapes and bold colors.
The street skate park includes a bright blue half pipe as well as a variety of quarter pipes, half bowl stairs and manual pads for performing tricks.
This skatepark serves not only as a sports venue, but also as a cultural center that blends skate culture, art, music, and sports.
It welcomes both amateur and professional skateboarders to enjoy and showcase their skills.
