When I think of large-scale projects in China, my mind immediately goes to impressive architecture. What continues to surprise me, however, is how interior design can tell an equally powerful story. In every detail, from architectural lines to shared spaces, it is evident how interior creativity can reflect a brand’s identity, reinforce corporate values, and turn every environment into a living, functional experience for those who inhabit it.
The Wutai Group, one of China’s leading pharmaceutical companies, recently inaugurated its new headquarters, spanning three floors of the 2,700 m² Wutai Tower in Changchun. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a three-storey sculptural space that immediately conveys a sense of openness and grandeur. The predominantly white interior serves as a neutral canvas for staff activities and interactions, while fluid architectural lines create a dynamic environment capable of adapting to its users’ needs. Openings in the ceiling establish visual and spatial connections between floors, promoting a sense of exchange and belonging.
For the Group, care is not just a corporate value; it forms the very foundation of the company’s philosophy. Alongside a strong commitment to quality and market leadership, the company places the well-being of its clients and employees at the center of its mission. The new headquarters not only embodies this vision but also provides an inspiring environment that fosters growth and innovation.
