Over the past decade, considering the evolving relationship between industry scale and innovation, the automotive sector stands out as one of the most dynamic. From powertrain developments to safety systems and in-vehicle entertainment, today’s cars—whether or not we drive them ourselves—have become an extension of our living environment.
In this context, Mercedes-Benz has extended its design approach into a new segment with the Vision V concept: an electric lounge vehicle that bridges the gap between a limousine and a multipurpose van. The prototype is built on the forthcoming Van Electric Architecture, yet it’s the sculpted exterior, adaptive lighting, and refined interior that define the initial impact.
Inside, a 65-inch retractable cinema screen and a 42-speaker audio system suggest a user experience tailored to high standards of immersion and comfort. Vision V targets a broad user base, from families to executives and even leisure-oriented users, illustrating how thoughtful spatial design can deliver a sense of calm, not just capacity.
