Today in Paris, Google unveiled an AI-powered chatbot to their rival OpenAI’s popular ChatGPT.
The new tool is called Bard, designed to bring the benefits of AI into our everyday products.
The bot uses a smaller version of Google’s AI model, LaMDA, which offers a conversational interface with the “breadth of the world’s knowledge.”
Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, has stated that the company is exploring conservative uses of the underlying AI technology in traditional search by synthesizing answers for questions with no agreed-on answer.
