On the top floor of The Henderson in Hong Kong, Studio Paolo Ferrari delivers a project that redefines the perception of an urban venue. Peridot draws inspiration from the gemstone that gives it its name, enveloping guests in a delicate green hue that flows across walls, ceilings, and furnishings. Every element, from mohair seating recessed into sculptural alcoves to high-gloss lacquered furniture, is conceived as an installation, while the green marble bar becomes the vibrant heart of the space.
Collaboration with Cathy Chui Lee and Lee Ka Shing allowed Ferrari to experiment with light and refraction, taking inspiration from an iconic object—the disco ball—to capture atmosphere and intimacy.
The culinary offering is equally innovative. Chef Lisandro Illa presents a plant-based journey that combines technique and creativity into small, artful dishes, while François Cavelier’s cocktail program explores distant terroirs with artisanal precision, telling the stories of both place and ingredient.
