In the last decade at least, I have noticed that most of the brands that have been successful online have sooner or later launched their presence in the real world as part of a global expansion strategy.
LuisaViaRoma, the Italian luxury clothing company, has opened its first store in New York, marking its first entry into physical retail in the US after years of significant growth in the digital world, following historic openings in Florence and Milan.
The store aims to serve the city’s trendsetters with exclusive merchandise and unique experiences that are best enjoyed in person, in a retail space of over 1,000 square meters on two levels.
Customers will be able to purchase a variety of authentic vintage pieces, as well as bring in their own luxury items in exchange for a store voucher.
