Transforming a venue into a recognizable experience today requires, in my view, a broader vision than interior design alone. What interests me most is when hospitality, urban culture, and visual identity converge within a space designed to naturally accompany different behaviors throughout the day, without rigidity or forced theatricality.
In the center of Turin, Lève Office Bar reinterprets the imagery of 1960s office culture through a project designed by Fabio Fantolino, turning it into a contemporary environment dedicated to conviviality. The concept does not use the past as a nostalgic exercise, but as a cultural reference capable of shaping an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and informal. Overlooking an urban garden, the space evolves throughout the day following different rhythms: breakfast, pauses, meetings, aperitivo, and dinner coexist within a fluid environment that changes perception and use without altering its identity. The project therefore develops a new idea of hospitality, closer to the language of international lifestyle than to the tradition of the classic cocktail bar. Reflective materials, bold colors, and soft lighting contribute to creating a cinematic dimension that never feels cold, guiding visitors through different yet coherent settings. The reference to the workplace becomes above all a way to speak about relationships, shared time, and contemporary social interaction. The strength of the initiative lies in its ability to transform a code normally associated with productivity into a place designed to slow down, observe, and inhabit the city differently, building a recognizable experience without narrative excess.
