The MIDORI minibar operates in Tokyo using a bright green 1977 MINI Clubman Estate paired with a renovated off-grid trailer. This pop-up bar positions itself at various locations, offering a selection of vinyl records, CDs, remixes, and drinks to the public.
Conceived as a sustainable project with a strong cultural focus, the concept centers on playing vinyl music wherever the minibar stops around the city. The rear seats of the MINI have been converted into a service area for cocktails and beverages.
Owner Shiori Tanaka drives the vehicle according to a schedule shared on Instagram, integrating the towable trailer to provide a complete and mobile musical experience.
This is an innovation, notably for blending different disciplines within a single context.
