Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) has unveiled the design for Terminal 2, which is set to become a new aviation hub in India.
This innovative airport concept envisions the travel experience as a contemplative and landscaped environment – a tribute to the city.
It is based on four core principles: technological leadership, the vision of a garden-integrated terminal, commitment to environmental and ecological preservation, and a celebration of Karnataka’s vibrant heritage and culture.
Designed by SOM Architects, the new terminal places a strong emphasis on sustainability and well-being, while maintaining a deep connection with nature and sustainable architecture.
