I recently had the opportunity to participate in an intimate roundtable discussion with a group of retail industry experts. We gathered to discuss how we can continue to transform the traditional shopping experience into immersive journeys that encourage consumers to engage with brands in new, creative ways.
One notable example of this shift is the Adidas store in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, which reflects the growing trend of “bold and fantastic” retail spaces. The store is a futuristic, eye-catching environment where industrial grit meets futuristic design elements to create a unique environment that blurs the lines between shopping and experience.
The store’s striking and experimental design marks a new creative chapter for the brand. The interior was brought to life through a collaboration between Adidas’ in-house design team, London-based retail design agency Checkland Kindleysides and US-based TPG Architecture.
