In my daily research to curate this section of our website, I mostly come across medium to large initiatives. It’s rare to find smaller activities, although they are often just as fascinating.
There’s often a natural inclination to innovate when delving into another sector, especially among creative minds.
A couple of experienced professionals in their respective fields, with very similar paths, acquire a 19th century villa overlooking the Gulf of Paradiso in Liguria. Surrounded by nature and relaxing walks, culture and gastronomy, they create a luxurious Bed & Breakfast that could be described as a second home, a vacation retreat.
The atmosphere is that of a place with only six rooms, a beautifully equipped kitchen, an Italian garden and an infinity pool. There are no numbers on the doors, no room keys, no uniformed doorman, and no lobby.
Conceptually, the project is based on works of art by contemporary artists, historically stamped vases, and books collected over the years – the three key concepts of interior design.
A strong aesthetic sensibility and the ability to blend unique design pieces with meticulous attention to detail, based on the founders’ passion, create an environment that could be defined as a very refined pop style.
The culture of hospitality completes the circle, with a service that makes you feel truly at home, without the slightest sense of being in a hotel.
