Oslo welcomed two new cultural heavyweights to its waterfront last year: the Edvard Munch Museum and, this summer, the 50,000-square-meter Nasjonal Museet, the Nordic countries’ biggest art museum.
Offering a comprehensive overview of art, architecture, and design under one roof, the new museum has since become a reference point for international art.
Also, from an architectural point of view, the space is very interesting due to the volumes and variety of the structure.
