I am sure that the publication as a whole is of the highest quality, but what struck me most was the box that contains the book and 45 fragrances. In fact, it’s a project made up of three luxurious parts, reminiscent of a work of art. This is also a kind of user experience – a less common experience when it comes to books.
La Maison presents “Louis Vuitton: A Perfume Atlas,” a poetic and scientific celebration of perfumery curated by Maître Parfumeur Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
The book follows his global journey in search of and procurement of the ingredients used in the brand’s fragrances.
It features texts by renowned perfumers, illustrations by Aurore de la Morinerie and photographs by Sébastien Zanella, creating a sensory experience for readers with over 200 watercolors.
