This is a project that I hope to see very soon, with a symbolic, cultural, creative and distinctly Italian significance.
The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC), envisioned for years as a major international cultural institution in the heart of Lower Manhattan, is the final piece and cultural cornerstone of the 2003 initiative to rebuild the World Trade Center site following the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
PAC NYC serves as both a cultural hub and a testament to the transformative power of the arts.
Its striking metamorphosis is remarkable: it presents itself as a solid, monolithic structure by day, only to become a luminous, translucent cube after dark.
This transformation is made possible by the remarkable lighting expertise of the Italian brand Flos, which has transformed the venue into a true masterpiece – a result of the innovative lighting concept created by Tillotson Design Studio.
