Noticing how many interesting things there are, from museums to shops, from creative projects to entering the world of services, I believe that Los Angeles is highly evolved in offering modern business opportunities. Recently, I happened to come across this new space that takes the classic approach of selling without selling.
In fact, at first glance, the new store of local brand Madhappy is a space that inspires conversation and relaxation due to the way the spaces are designed, the color palette and the strong presence of natural light.
LA studio PlayLab Inc designed a sky-blue conversation pit at its center, and divided the West Hollywood store into two distinct zones – one for retail and the other for “intimate gathering spaces,” including a cafe and courtyard, all with large windows.
Madhappy’s new Los Angeles flagship combines minimalism with retro appeal, featuring a sunken seating area that puts a modern spin on ’70s inspiration images.
The overall goal of the design was to create a space for community dialogue and product showcasing.
