When I think about China, the first thing that strikes me is not only how quickly cities transform, but also the number of innovative projects that emerge, even in the cultural field. It’s not common to see such a frequent and systematic approach to innovation in many countries, where aesthetics, functionality, and quality combine with a bold vision.
A perfect example is the Blossom School in Chengdu, designed by Karv One Design. It’s not just a school: it’s a true cultural and educational space, conceived like an illustrated book where children can explore, create, and learn immersed in a visually stimulating environment. The attention to detail, the variety of spaces, and the high-quality materials show how, in China, excellence is not reserved for a few iconic projects but often becomes the standard.
What I find particularly interesting is that these places do not remain confined to their original role: they become destinations to visit, cultural landmarks, and design models, regardless of the sector they operate in. It’s an approach that invites us to rethink how we conceive projects, increasingly aiming to integrate aesthetic, functional, and social value.
