After recently following the media coverage of Mytheresa’s acquisition of YNAP (Yoox and Net-a-Porter from the Richemont group), we now see Next launching Seasons, a new e-commerce platform dedicated to luxury. This platform aims to enter the premium online fashion market and cater to an increasingly discerning clientele.
In a challenging economic climate for the luxury sector, Seasons is adopting a no-discount strategy to preserve product value and create an exclusive shopping experience. This approach is designed to engage Next’s large, loyal customer base, which is drawn to quality pieces and meticulous attention to detail.
The platform plans to expand globally by 2026, with the goal of establishing partnerships with top luxury brands, including those in the Kering and Richemont groups. Seasons offers a carefully curated mix of accessible luxury and contemporary designer brands, such as Marc Jacobs, Ganni, and A.P.C., along with capsule collections for special occasions.
Leveraging Next’s advanced logistics network, Seasons will provide fast delivery, home collection return options, and over 500 pick-up points across the UK.
