At the vibrant heart of the Greater Bay Area, I discovered Foshan—a city emerging as one of China’s most dynamic engines of innovation. With a thousand-year history and a strong manufacturing heritage, Foshan is reinventing itself through advanced technologies, automation, and sustainable new production models.
Within this transformative landscape, Shanghai Gold Concord Group has developed the MAX Zone Technology Park—a hub dedicated to robotics and new energy industries, designed to accelerate the growth of intelligent manufacturing across the region.
To embody and communicate this vision, the Group commissioned IFG to design the interiors of two key spaces conceived as platforms for connection and exchange among businesses, talent, and innovators.
The entire project is guided by the Feng Shui principle of Jù, which represents the act of gathering and channeling positive energy to foster prosperity and success. The spaces within MAX Zone are crafted to encourage interaction, stimulate communication, and inspire creativity—a spatial geometry that becomes a metaphor for collective work and shared innovation.
Here, local culture and forward-thinking design converge, creating an environment that is not only a showcase of industrial progress but also a living ecosystem where ideas and people come together to build the future.
