Just two days ago in Singapore, we witnessed the full reopening of Changi Airport’s Terminal 2, complete with lush greenery and a mesmerizing digital waterfall display, after three and a half years of extensive renovations.
I was truly impressed by the level of digitalization and technology integrated into the terminal, as well as its sleek and functional modern design.
Equally noteworthy is the terminal’s commitment to engaging passengers of all ages with a variety of entertainment options.
The revitalized terminal incorporates natural elements such as an immersive garden in the heart of the transit area.
With an expansion of more than 21,000 square meters, the modernized terminal has enabled Changi Airport to efficiently handle increased passenger traffic.
Terminal 2 will host the operations of sixteen airlines, offering connections to 40 different cities, and will now accommodate a staggering 90 million passengers annually.
In addition to offering a mix of new tenants, this refreshed terminal also follows a nature-themed design to provide travelers with a unique and enjoyable airport experience.
