It’s like a river in flood – technologically spectacular.
Between virtual reality, NFT, artificial intelligence, and robotics, contemporary art seems to have become increasingly saturated with technology.
Artists, designers, and creatives seem to be chasing the most spectacular installation yet.
David Hockney, a well-known international artist recognized for his pop-soaked pictorial career, has never shied away from technological experimentation.
The artist’s performance “David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller and further away)” is now available at the Lightroom in London.
The new space is a four-story cubic-like room with HD projection mapping on four walls and on the floor. Visitors are immersed in a journey of about fifty minutes accompanied by a voice-over track. A mix between a documentary, visual installation, and technological show.
