Nestled in the serene Palmeraie, within the prestigious Triangle d’Or district, Jnane Rumi occupies a historic villa originally designed by renowned Tunisian architect Charles Boccara. Surrounded by lush, century-old gardens with olive and pistachio trees, the property blends natural beauty with architectural heritage.
Dutch couple Gert-Jan van den Bergh and Corinne discovered the villa while searching for a family home. Inspired by its potential, they transformed their vision into a refined hospitality project. To preserve and extend the original spirit of the house, they partnered with architect Nicolas Bodé—Boccara’s former student—and artist Jacques van Nieuwerburgh to add a second floor that honors the villa’s legacy.
