In recent years, themed residences have emerged as a strategic model to strengthen long-term customer engagement, particularly in the high-end market. This trend has been especially prominent in the automotive sector, where brands leverage lifestyle integration to enhance loyalty and brand experience.
Now, this approach is extending into the world of sports. An English football club has announced a major real estate venture—though not in the UK.
Chelsea FC has unveiled plans to develop the world’s first football-themed residential towers. Located in Dubai’s Maritime City, the project will consist of four skyscrapers comprising 1,400 residential units.
In partnership with real estate developer DAMAC, the towers will rise to 130 meters, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. One of the buildings will feature a rooftop football pitch—a nod to Chelsea FC’s identity. Additional amenities include a high-performance athletic center, the Chelsea Sports Bar, a private cinema, and an Aquarium Lounge.
This collaboration marks the first of its kind between a football club and a major real estate developer, setting a precedent for branded living experiences in the sports sector.
