During a recent visit to Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées in Paris, I came across a remarkable two-week installation dedicated to showcasing C.P. Company’s latest GORE-TEX® jacket. The display was designed by Random Studio as an industrial testing facility, drawing attention to the jacket’s exceptional windproof qualities through a dynamic, interactive setup.
The centerpiece of the installation was a minimalist testing cabin with a laboratory-inspired aesthetic. Constructed from an aluminum gridded frame and featuring a transparent glass front, the structure reflected C.P. Company’s commitment to textile innovation. This sleek and modern design served as the perfect backdrop for highlighting the technical excellence of the garment.
Inside the cabin, the jackets were brought to life by a continuous stream of strong winds generated by steel electric fans. These fans, positioned beneath a loop of white fabric that framed the display, created an immersive demonstration of the jacket’s weather-resistant performance. Watching the garments sway and resist the gusts made it clear how effectively they were engineered to withstand harsh conditions.
This creative and engaging presentation not only highlighted the functionality of C.P. Company’s GORE-TEX® jackets but also underscored their dedication to blending innovative design with high-performance materials. It was a striking reminder of the brand’s expertise in pushing the boundaries of fashion and function.
