UK-based studio Zaha Hadid Architects has collaborated with software developer Epic Games to create a parametric version of London in the popular video game Fortnite. Players are placed on a creator-designed island along London’s waterfront, showcasing the firm’s signature curved architecture.
Players can design their own parametric structures using pre-built modules, constructing buildings near iconic landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tate Modern. This multiplayer game encourages exploration of urban development and community engagement, inviting players to create walkable spaces with sustainable, mixed-use buildings.
