In an attempt to be open, objective and curious, I often go beyond my personal taste when creating this content, believing it’s a good exercise for creativity. While always looking at innovation from a professional point of view, I discover truly unique things that I would never have imagined in terms of design, style, and industrialization.
From Turkey comes a new and revolutionary personal electric vehicle (PEV), halfway between a sidecar and a scooter, designed exclusively for city use. It’s called the Lámpago Electric Trike, a three-wheeled electric motorcycle with a retro aesthetic reminiscent of 1960s or 1970s scooter design like the Vespa or Lambretta.
Its appearance is truly captivating, achieving a retro vibe through the work of its three designers: Yavuz Cinkaya, Osman Colcak and Selen Sarkaya, both in terms of shapes and the accessories they’ve added to their creation.
Its open body accommodates two passengers in tandem, with the rear passenger seated higher and a small trunk at the rear.
