I recently visited Como and took the opportunity to explore a new project that brings together many elements familiar to our profession: ideas, hospitality, architecture, design and experience.
The Mandarin Oriental Lake Como asked Herzog & de Meuron to develop a master plan for the future development of the resort, including a redesign of the outdoor pool area and enhancements to the existing spa.
The hotel is impeccably designed within its surroundings, nestled in a park-like garden and surrounded by a series of buildings scattered throughout the lush landscape.
