A clothing and accessory retailer in the United States has partnered with MoonPay, a crypto payments company, to offer customers an in-store NFT claim.
The project allows in-store customers to receive free digital collectibles with daily affirmations.
The feature, which was introduced in the United States during Mental Health Awareness Month, involves customers tapping their smartphones against a “Tap for Mindfulness” terminal at the checkout counter.
The terminal has an NFC chip that takes them to a website where they can claim a daily NFT.
The NFTs feature mindfulness-themed artwork and provide access to mental health resources.
Alo Yoga will also send customers additional NFT collection opportunities via email.
